Today (July 26) is Clara and Lucy's third birthday. For the past couple of weeks they have been aware that the day was coming and they were talking about it frequently. Some of their friends have had parties recently, so they had some ideas of what to expect.
We actually had our celebration with six of their friends and their parents on Saturday. In the morning the girls were talking about going to their party. They didn't have to go far since it was in our apartment. Although they knew ahead of time who was coming, it seems like it was still a bit of a shock for them when people actually arrived.
As you can see from the photo, they were a bit hesitant and were pretty serious for a while. It was nice to see them playing as time went on.
