Part of the pleasure

While the center of our attention is unquestionably the girls, it has also been really fun for me to see Stacey developing her bond with the girls and for us to figure out how we get things done together.

Stacey has an amazing balance of being very aware of both the physical and emotional needs of the girls while also keeping things organized and practical. She is so sweet with them. She sings to them, reads, talks with them a lot with the intention of building their verbal skills, laughs with and at them, wipes their noses and other parts, chooses their outfits carefully, thinks about what blanket will be most comforting, always worries that they are not getting enough to eat (which I can assure you they are), makes sure she is spending as much time as possible holding both of the girls and just adores them.

Stacey and I have always been able to find common interests through the years of our relationship, which has made it stronger and fun for us. I am so glad the kids are also a shared interest and that we are able to experience this time together and continue to grow, now as a family.
